1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dev Scraper ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

2. Description of Service

Dev Scraper is a web-based tool that extracts publicly available business information from Google Maps listings. The Service provides structured data including business names, phone numbers, email addresses, websites, physical addresses, ratings, and review counts. Data is collected from publicly accessible sources only.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. Email verification is mandatory before you can initiate any scrape jobs. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use scraped data for spamming, harassment, or any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
• Resell or redistribute raw scraped data as a competing data service
• Use automated tools to abuse the Service beyond normal usage
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international laws including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA

5. Data Scraping Disclaimer

Dev Scraper collects publicly available business listing information. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any scraped data. Google Maps data is subject to change at any time, and results may vary between scrape jobs. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any data before using it for business purposes.

6. Free Tier and Usage Limits

Free accounts are limited to 5 scrape jobs per day. Each scrape job can return up to 200 business listings. We reserve the right to modify usage limits at any time. Abuse of free tier limits may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Data Retention

Scraped data is stored on our servers for 30 days from the date of extraction. After this retention period, data is automatically and permanently deleted. You are responsible for downloading and backing up any data you wish to retain before the 30-day period expires. We are not liable for any data loss after the retention period.

8. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time through your dashboard settings. Upon deletion, all associated data including scrape results, account information, and usage history will be permanently removed within 7 business days. Account deletion is irreversible.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Dev Scraper shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
